SP moves against Pornography

The Bacolod Sangguniang Panlungsod passed a resolution yesterday calling for an SP public consultation in aid of legislation to address the proliferation of scandalous and pornographic materials through cellular phones, and to take measures to preserve and protect public morals among the youth.

The resolution, proposed by Councilors Greg Gasataya and Lyndon Caña, states that the public consultation will be conducted by the SP through the Committees on Education, Women and Gender, and Children and Family with both public and private schools and school parents' associations in Bacolod City. more
